Spirits of Hana PART 1

Spirits of Hana (Part 1)

No words can convey how I feel about this little town but I will try my best to give it honor. It is a magical place for me!

I had originally went to Hana for training to obtain my Reiki Master and Teacher certification.  However, what was to come that had nothing to do with my training, would turn out to be the best part of the journey!  I truly was blessed in so many ways, including having the Spirits of Hana accompany me on my 10 day journey...and they did not make their presence unknown!

One crazy thing was that every single night in my dreams, wild animals came to me and every night I was awoken at 3:33am. The following day's events would were in some way be related to my dream the night before. This continued on throughout the 10 days and on the last night, I was given a message through Jesus.  A gentle reminder to be a healer not a hater. Which so fitting as I had just been so upset and disappointed by someone whom I had thought of as a mentor. I even spoke of my concerns to 3 other people.  So I thought about the message Jesus gave me and I went back to the 3 people to tell them I was wrong for judging and having those expectations.

I believe that the Spirits were with me from the minute I landed! Let me tell you why...

I had arrived in Kahului, Maui and was to take a smaller plane to Hana.  The weather was horrible and so, the flight was late. Once I boarded this very small plane and met the two pilots who appeared to be about 20yrs old, I was so nervous. You cannot see the pilots, there is a curtain and the plane is very small and so I felt alone. Then they were instructed that the storm was too great and we were unable to take off right away and so we sat in the plane and waited. Longest 20min of my life!

Then...a beautiful Polynesian women had come on board. She was happy to get on board.  She was travelling from the main island to Hana to see her family.  I was so happy to see her because I knew I was not alone anymore in the back of the plane.

Anyways...She held my hand through the great turbulence and she actually made me laugh!

When I arrived at the small airport the shuttle form the hotel was waiting for me to drive me to the hotel. Nice guy and very patient.  Everyone had been so patient and understanding.  I guess they are used to unexpected storms and delays. So since  was arriving so late I had asked the young fellow if he would mind picking me up in the morning to drive me to the location I had to go to for my Reiki training. He said yes.

Back to my dreams, so that night I went to bed. I had to most strangest dreams that seemed so real like I was actually in them for real.  The next day, I would see and experience parts of my dreams. I understood the meaning of them and the messages from the animals that were in them.  I researched the spirit meanings of each and talk to the local elders about my dreams.  They all said I had been very blessed to have them and that I was protected and well liked by the ancestors and Spirits of Hana.  They treated me like I was royalty and I was humbled.  I was given gifts, free food , drink and moreover friendship!

To follow is just one example of the dream and the experiences thereafter.

The first night I dreamed of being in a rectangular cottage with a spherical ceiling all made out of wood.

There were some windows and when I looked through them I saw leopards and tigers prowling about. They did not seem harmful nor aggressive but nevertheless, it scared me. I saw what appeared to be a gas station across the road from my window.  It was green, old, gas tanks on the left, road on the left, door to enter on the right.  I thought...as soon as I see a clear path from the tigers, I will run across to the gas station and get help.

I waited with baited breath and trepidation...finally...a clear path!  I turn to go out the cottage door and a big Lioness opened the door so gently. She walked slowly towards me, I froze. I did not move and not even sure if I was  breathing?  She approached me slowly, then lifted her paw and put in on my shoulder and on the back of my head. She motioned me as though she wanted me to lay down...and so, I did.

She then started playing with me and licking me. I felt so much love. It was crazy how safe and secure I felt...like I never had before!

I woke up to go to the bathroom and it was 3:33am and I when I saw the time, I thought "Oh how cool is that!"  What I didn't realize is that, it would then become a regular occurrence for the remaining nights of my stay.

I wrote about each dream in my journal. I recalled my feelings in the dream whether I was afraid, happy, sad, in pain, in love...etc. I realized the only thing I felt was trapped. Like I couldn't get out of the cottage because of the tigers. I began to analyze my feelings and the spirit animal meanings.

I would later compare the events that took place that day and note the correlation to my dream.  I wrote that in my journal as well.

My first day travelling to the workshop, would be my first ah ha! moment and correlation to my dream. As the day unfolded, so did my dream.

The Spirits even provided me with signs and synchronicity during my waking hours. Spirit brought me to people and conversations that would change my perspective on life... forever! I learned so much from the Polynesians.

I learned that how I have had many lives in many forms. How everything was connected all energy was connected.  I learned about some of my previous incarnations and what my soul's purpose is in this incarnation. Namely to be authentically me!  I also learned that I had still so much more to learn!

One very strong message was that living in and appreciating in the "here and now" was a very important message to us. To me in particular, my time, this time, here on Earth.

In addition, I learned about fields of energy and about the different dimensions. All of a sudden, it all made sense!  The experiences I had in the past and as a child were real!

Furthermore, I was confirmed of what I always had believed...that unconditional love is the answer. Love is the greatest energy and highest vibration and that we need to evolve as spiritual beings in our human form.

When I asked why I was here, I was told to express every aspect of Divinity to the world and in the experiences in this lifetime. I realized I was an aspect of Divinity like a part of and I was different than others, and that we were all different aspects of the Divine and each individual yet pat of GOD.  One consciousness. One collective Soul.

It is not necessary to reach outside oneself for wisdom.  The wisdom of the ages resides in all of us. It does serve us to read about it so that we can be reminded about what we already know but we do not "need" it.

I feel so honored and so blessed that the Spirits came to me and what they taught me. I am forever grateful for having had this experience. Mauii felt like home to me and so to confirm, I must go back. Only this time, no 7 day 10hrs workshop, just a vacation. To do more sight seeing, rent a car tour the whole island and to swim with the sea turtles. I am also very curious to know if I would have the same experiences as last March 2016.

While in Hana Mauii, there are not to many places to stay as it is a bit isolated and near the jungle. I stayed in the Travassa Hana hotel, although the room rate was way above my budget, it was well worth it! Magical place is Hana!
