Mother Earth 

This a complicated piece with regards to its message. Naturally, still open to your interpretation!

This is the story of Mother Earth trying to teach us about her natural healing remedies she has provided us, how precious life is. Hence, that your life is precious as well!
She is somewhat sadden by how the Earth has been pillaged and reaped of its natural resources. The crystals are one example... the trees another. In addition, how we are polluting our air and water.
The Japanese cherry tree represents the time of renewal and the fleeting nature of life. The blossoms do not live long, nor do we and so life is very precious and timing is everything!

No Judgement

I love this painting!  It was my first of the "No Judgment" series to be published shortly.

They say "the eyes are the seat of the soul" and so since I believe we are and come from  "the light", It seemed fitting.  If we were all to look at each other through the eyes of GOD we are all part of the same light, therefore, we all equal and more importantly...all connected.

Hana, Maui Spirit

I had the most amazing experience in Hana, Maui in March of 2016 while on a 10 day inward-bound Reiki retreat and training workshop for my Master level and teaching certification.
I wrote a blog on my experiences of being visited by the Spirits at night in my dreams and how I was awoken each night at 3:33am. It received thousands of hits and so I thought to mention it here.

Precious Life

I painted this picture after my dad had passed away March 2018.  It was very healing for me that I painted it 3 times but in variations of colors.  They are very effective in healing. When I paint them for buyers I ask what they need healing from, if they so like to share.  If not, that is fine as well, I would then ask if it is the heart, mind or physical that needs healing?  Using Reiki healing energy and with intention of healing in the capacity of love...I paint each brush stroke thinking of the buyer's need of healing.

Tree of Life

I grew-up climbing and hugging trees.  I had Faery friends too! I love nature and I try to do what I can to protect it.  I am so very grateful for all Mother nature has provided us and I respect all of creation.  I won't kill anything.  I would rather run away! I am cautious and deliberate when I walk so as to avoid stepping/killing any for of life. I actually feel sad when I see devastation of trees or any plant life.  I work as a gardener and I talk to everything and guess what?  Everything talks back!

Music is Life

Music and dance are therapeutic! So are social gatherings, especially with loved ones. Music and dance are essential in life and some people need to incorporate more of it in their life! Re are reminded here to take time out to play, sing, laugh and dance our hearts away! Forgetting about all your problems and "do do lists" and just blissfully be in the zone.

What do you do when you are old and frail?

I had so much fun doing this painting!  That is me...when I was much younger! That's my dog Meika behind the tree. In this painting I am trying to portray experiencing life. Being connected and feeling in communion with all creation. All the birds, insects etc became an important part of my healing during the spring and summer months of 2016. I had been living by the river in a wonderful small village trying to escape life and heal myself. It took all of mother nature to remind me just how precious life was and more importantly...how precious I was.
